Shipping policy

3.1 Shipping Information 

3.1.1 Shipping Methods 

• Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days (domestic)
• Express Shipping: 2-3 business days
• International Shipping: 7-15 business days via DTDC 

All delivery timelines are indicative and subject to variation. SKYBIT shall not be held liable for any delay, non-delivery, or deviation from estimated timelines arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. 

3.1.2 Shipping Costs 

Calculated based on: 

• Delivery destination
• Package weight and volume
• Shipping method selected
• Current carrier rates
• Free shipping on domestic orders . 

3.1.3 Order Processing 

• Orders processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation
• No processing on weekends or public holidays
• Shipping confirmation with tracking number sent via email 

3.1.4 Tracking 

Shipment tracking may be conducted using the tracking number provided in the shipping confirmation. All tracking updates and status information are supplied directly by the designated carrier. 

3.1.5 Delivery Address 

You are solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time of order placement. SKYBIT shall not be liable for: 

 Loss, delay, or mis delivery of packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details; 
 Any additional charges incurred due to address corrections or modifications made after dispatch; 
 Packages returned to SKYBIT as a result of inaccurate or incomplete address information. 

Any re-shipment of returned packages may be subject to additional shipping fees. 

3.2 Return Policy for Electronic Components 

3.2.1 Return Eligibility - Strict Conditions 

Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase ONLY under the following strict conditions: 

Items Eligible for Return: 

• Product must be completely UNUSED and in original, unopened condition
• Original product box and all original packaging must be intact
• All accessories, documentation, and manuals included in original state
• No visible signs of use, handling, or testing
• Product must be in exact condition as received from SKYBIT
• Only applicable for defective items proven by SKYBIT inspection or items shipped in error by SKYBIT 

Items NOT Eligible for Return: 

• Any product that has been opened, even partially
• Components with damaged or opened original packaging/box
• Products that show any signs of use, handling, or testing
• Components with missing original box or compromised packaging
• Cut reels or partially used components
• Custom-programmed or modified ICs
• Obsolete or legacy components
• Components beyond 7-day return window
• Products where customer-initiated use of any kind 

3.2.2 Return Procedure 

Step 1: Contact techsupport@skybit.co.in with order number and reason for return within 7 days 

Step 2: Provide photographs showing product in unopened, original box condition 

Step 3: Obtain Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from SKYBIT 

Step 4: Ship item in original packaging with RMA number clearly marked 

Step 5: SKYBIT inspects item for unopened, original condition 

Step 6: Upon verification of original, unused condition, process refund or replacement 

3.2.3 Return Shipping 

• For Defective Items (SKYBIT Verified): SKYBIT provides prepaid return label
• For Wrong Item (SKYBIT Error): SKYBIT covers return shipping
• For Any Other Return Request: Return is subject to strict original condition verification; SKYBIT may charge inspection fees if condition is compromised 

3.2.4 Refund Processing 

Once received and verified: 

• Inspection takes 5-7 business days to confirm original, unused condition
• If verified as original and unopened: Refund credited to original payment method
• Processing takes 5-10 business days
• Bank processing takes additional 1-3 business days
• If product shows signs of use or opened packaging: Return denied, product reshipped at buyer's expense 

Important: Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Inspection fees may be charged if product does not meet original condition requirements. 

3.2.5 Defective or Damaged Items 

If component received defective or damaged in transit: 

• Notify immediately with photographs showing unopened original box
• Do not open or use the component
• SKYBIT provides prepaid return label
• Upon confirmation of defect with unopened packaging, replacement or refund at no cost 

3.2.6 Exchanges 

Exchanges are NOT permitted. Returns must be processed as refunds, and new orders must be placed if different components are required. 

3.3 Non-Returnable Items 

Final sale (absolutely non-returnable): 

• Any product with opened or damaged original packaging
• Components showing any signs of use or handling
• Products where original box has been opened
• Custom-programmed or modified components
• Opened reels or partially used items
• Items beyond 7-day return window
• Obsolete components
• Items damaged due to misuse 

3.4 Limited Warranty 

3.4.1 Warranty Coverage 

SKYBIT warrants components free from manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery under normal use. Covers: 

• Material and workmanship defects
• Malfunctions from normal use
• Structural failures 

Does NOT cover: 

• Misuse, abuse, or negligence
• Unauthorized repairs
• Damage from third-party products
• Normal wear and tear
• Any component showing signs of prior use 

3.4.2 Warranty Claims 

Warranty claims must be submitted within twelve (12) months from the date of purchase and must include valid proof of purchase along with a detailed description of the alleged defect. Products must be returned in their unopened, original packaging. Upon receipt, SKYBIT shall evaluate the claim and, in accordance with applicable manufacturer policies, may at its discretion provide a repair, replacement, or refund. 

3.5 Lost or Damaged Shipments 

3.5.1 Lost Packages 

If package not received within estimated delivery window: 

• Check tracking information
• Contact carrier
• Notify techsupport@skybit.co.in within 30 days
• SKYBIT investigates with carrier
• Replacement or refund offered if unlocated 

3.5.2 Damaged in Transit 

If package arrives damaged: 

• Do not open the damaged packaging
• Document damage with photographs
• Contact support immediately with order number
• Keep packaging and damaged item in original condition
• SKYBIT arranges replacement or refund 

4. Intellectual Property Protection 

All SKYBIT trademarks, logos, product images, manuals, datasheets, packaging designs, and all content displayed on the SKYBIT website or provided through any SKYBIT service are the exclusive intellectual property of SKYBIT. No user, distributor, or third party may copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, store, or transmit any SKYBIT intellectual property without prior written authorization. 

5. Fraud Prevention & Order Review Rights 

SKYBIT reserves the absolute right to review, hold, investigate, or cancel any order that appears suspicious, fraudulent, bulk-manipulated, artificially inflated, or placed with the intent of unauthorized resale. SKYBIT may request additional verification before processing such orders. 

6. Force Majeure 

SKYBIT shall not be held liable for delays, failures, or inability to fulfil obligations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flood, war, labor strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, transportation failures, supply chain disruptions, or any event classified as force majeure under applicable law. 

7. Limitation on Resale 

Products purchased from SKYBIT are strictly for personal or authorized business use. No customer may resell, redistribute, export, or supply SKYBIT components to third parties without an official written distributor or reseller agreement executed with SKYBIT. Unauthorized resale may result in order cancellation, blacklisting, and legal action. 

8. No Reverse Engineering 

Customers shall not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to reconstruct SKYBIT hardware, firmware, embedded systems, or any related technology. Any such attempt constitutes a material breach and may result in legal remedies, including damages and injunctive relief. 

9. Updated Warranty Clause (Revised Requirement) 

Customers may open product packaging solely for the purpose of functional testing. Warranty claims shall remain valid only if no signs of misuse, mishandling, improper installation, soldering, modification, or environmental damage are found. 

Warranty is void if the product shows evidence of: 

• Misuse or negligence
• Improper electrical handling or ESD damage
• Unauthorized repair or modification
• Water, moisture, or dust ingress
• Third‑party intervention 

10. Policy Update Clause 

SKYBIT reserves the right to modify, amend, or update any part of its policies at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will take immediate effect upon publication on the SKYBIT website. Users are encouraged to review policies periodically to stay informed of changes.
