LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY FOR SKYBIT ELECTRONIC DRONE PRODUCTS
Effective Date: 15th of October 2025
Company: Griffyn Ai Labs Private Limited. (Hereinafter referred as “ G- AI Labs ”
Product Category: SKYBIT Drone Components (Flight Controllers, Power Distribution Boards, and Related
Electronic Assemblies)
1. DEFINITIONS
In this Limited Warranty Policy ("Warranty"), unless the context otherwise requires:
● "Company" means G- AI LABS, trading under the brand name SKYBIT, or any successor or permitted assign thereof.
● "Product" means any SKYBIT electronic drone component, including but not limited to flight controllers, power distribution boards, sensor modules, and related electronic accessories, supplied by the Company.
● "Purchaser" means the original end-customer purchasing the Product from the Company or an authorized reseller, and shall not include any subsequent owner or transferee.
● "Warranty Period" means twelve (12) calendar months from the original date of purchase as evidenced by valid proof of purchase.
● "Defect" means a failure of the Product to conform to the specifications and quality standards as originally supplied by the Company, arising from defects in materials or workmanship.
2. WARRANTY COVERAGE
2.1 Express Warranty
The Company warrants to the Purchaser that, during the Warranty Period and under normal and proper use in accordance with the User Manual and technical specifications, the Product shall be substantially free from Defects in materials and workmanship.
2.2 Scope of Coverage
Coverage under this Warranty includes failures arising from:
● Factory Defects in components and subassemblies
● Malfunction of integrated electronic components, including but not limited to processing units, microcontrollers, volatile and non-volatile memory, voltage regulation circuits, sensor modules (inertial measurement units, barometric pressure sensors, etc.), communication interfaces (Bluetooth, WiFi, UART modules), and onboard diagnostic systems
● Manufacturing defects in electrical connections, soldering, and assembly processes
● Failure of components supplied as original equipment by the Company, provided such components have not been modified, replaced, or repaired outside an authorized service center.
2.3 Limitation of Coverage
This Warranty covers only the Product itself and does not extend to:
● Third-party components, accessories, or external equipment
● Software, firmware, or operating systems, except where such software failure is demonstrably caused by a hardware Defect in the Product
● Any modification, adaptation, or customization performed after the original sale
3. WARRANTY REMEDIES
3.1 Exclusive Remedy
If, within the Warranty Period, a Product is found to be defective and such defect is determined by the Company to be covered under this Warranty, the Company's sole obligation and the Purchaser's exclusive remedy shall be, at the Company's sole and absolute discretion:
● (a) Repair of the defective Product or component; or
● (b) Replacement of the defective Product or component with a new or refurbished unit of equivalent functionality; or
● (c) At the Company's discretion, credit toward the purchase of a replacement Product
3.2 Replacement Standards
Any replacement Product or component may be:
● A new unit of the same model or specification; or
● A refurbished unit that meets original factory standards; or
● Where the original model is no longer in production or not readily available, a functionally equivalent model as determined by the Company in its sole discretion
3.3 Limitation of Liability
The Company's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with this Warranty, whether in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, shall in no event exceed the original purchase price actually paid by the Purchaser for the defective Product. This limitation applies notwithstanding any failure of an exclusive remedy provided herein.
4. REPLACEMENT LIMITS AND CAPS
4.1 Maximum Replacements
The obligations of the Company under Section 3 (Warranty Remedies) are strictly limited to a maximum of three (3) repairs, replacements unless otherwise required under applicable law. of the Product or any of its components during the Warranty Period. This cap applies cumulatively and does not reset upon each claim.
4.2 Post-Cap Entitlements
Once the maximum of three (3) repairs or replacements has been exhausted prior to the end of the Warranty Period:
● (a) Any further claim for repair, replacement, credit, or remedial service shall be entirely at the sole discretion of the Company.
● (b) The Company may, at its discretion, offer repair, replacement, or discounted sale of a replacement Product, all subject to terms separately negotiated and agreed in writing; and
● (c) The Purchaser shall have no further entitlement under this Warranty beyond the exhaustion of the three (3) replacements.
4.3 No Period Extension
No repair or replacement undertaken by the Company, whether as a warranty remedy or as a discretionary measure, shall operate to extend, renew, or restart the original Warranty Period. All Products furnished as replacements shall be warranted only for the remainder of the original Warranty Period, calculated from the original date of purchase.
5. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
5.1 Notice and Initial Contact
To initiate a warranty claim, the Purchaser shall:
● (a) Notify the Company's designated customer service contact within a reasonable time of discovering the alleged Defect.
● (b) Provide the Company's customer service with a detailed, written description of the alleged defect or malfunction, including the circumstances under which it was discovered and any error messages or operational anomalies observed; and
● (c) Supply any reasonable documentation, photographic evidence, system logs, configuration details, or other information requested by the Company for preliminary assessment of the claim.

5.2 Documentation Requirements
The Purchaser must provide:
● (a) Valid proof of purchase, including original sales invoice, receipt, or bill of sale, showing the purchase date, place of purchase, and clear identification of the specific Product model and serial number;
● (b) Statement that the Purchaser is the original purchaser and that the warranty has not been previously transferred.
● (c) Confirmation that the Product serial number labels and identifying marks remain intact and unaltered; and
● (d) Any warranty registration documents or certificates, if applicable.
5.3 Return Procedures
Where the Company requests physical inspection or repair of the Product:
● (a) The Purchaser shall, at the Purchaser's sole cost and risk, arrange for return of the Product to the Company or to an authorized service center, using appropriate protective packaging designed to prevent damage, contamination, or degradation during transit;
● (b) The Purchaser shall include with the returned Product a copy of the proof of purchase and a detailed written statement of the alleged defect;
● (c) Once the Company completes repair or replacement and the Warranty covers the claim, return shipping costs shall be borne by the Company; and
● (d) If the Company denies the warranty claim, return shipping costs shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser.
5.4 Assessment and Processing Timeline
● (a) Upon receipt of the returned Product, the Company shall conduct a reasonable inspection and assessment of the alleged Defect;
● (b) The Company shall, within a commercially reasonable period not exceeding ten (10) business days following physical receipt of the Product, notify the Purchaser in writing of:
o Whether the warranty claim is accepted or denied;
o The reasons for acceptance or denial, if denied;
o The proposed remedy (repair, replacement, or credit), if accepted; and
o The expected timeframe for completion of the remedy.
● (c) The Company shall use commercially reasonable efforts to complete repair or arrange replacement within thirty (30) days of claim acceptance, provided that delays arising from parts unavailability, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of
the Company shall not be deemed a breach of this Agreement
6. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
6.1 Excluded Conditions
This Warranty does not apply to, and the Company shall have no obligation whatsoever in respect of, any Product that exhibits any of the following:
6.1.1 Misuse, Abuse, and Improper Handling
● Operation of the Product in a manner inconsistent with the User Manual, safety instructions, or technical specifications provided by the Company;
● Improper handling, physical abuse, rough treatment, dropping, impact damage, or intentional damage;
● Operation by the Purchaser or any third party in a manner reasonably foreseeable to cause damage;
● Use of the Product for purposes for which it was not designed or intended;
● Storage or operation in conditions inconsistent with manufacturer specifications.
6.1.2 Improper Installation, Modification, and Unauthorized Repair
● Errors in installation, configuration, or commissioning of the Product;
● Incorrect wiring, reverse polarity, or improper electrical connections;
● Connection to incompatible, substandard, or incorrectly rated power sources;
● Use of non-compatible, counterfeit, or substandard components;
● Any modification, alteration, repair, or servicing performed outside of an authorized service centre operated or approved by the Company in writing;
● Soldering, reworking, component replacement, or firmware modification undertaken by any party other than the Company or its authorized representatives;
● Tampering with, removal of, or alteration of firmware, bootloaders, or software supplied by the Company, save where such changes are expressly permitted in writing.
6.1.3 Accident and External Causes
● Damage arising from fire, smoke, explosion, or heat;
● Water damage, liquid ingress, flooding, submersion, or exposure to moisture and corrosive substances;
● Lightning strike, electrical surge, voltage spike, or damage caused by power fluctuations;
● Environmental hazards, including natural disasters, earthquakes, severe weather, extreme atmospheric conditions, or acts of God;
● Damage caused by exposure to salt spray, chemical substances, or corrosive or caustic environments.
6.1.4 Mis-operation and Unauthorized Use
● Operation of the Product at electrical ratings, specifications, or parameters exceeding those specified in the technical documentation;
● Over-voltage, over-current, over-power conditions, or sustained operation beyond rated thermal limits;
● Exposure to temperatures, humidity levels, or dust concentrations outside the specified operating or storage range;
● Failure to provide adequate cooling, ventilation, or protective measures during extended operation;
● Use in environments with electromagnetic interference, RF interference, or other hostile electrical conditions, unless the Product is specifically rated for such environments.
6.1.5 Normal Wear and Tear
● Gradual deterioration, degradation, or performance decline through normal, proper use over time;
● Connector wear, oxidation, or mechanical degradation from repeated mating and de-mating cycles;
● Solder joint fatigue, microcracking, or intermittent connections arising from thermal cycling or vibration during normal operation;
● Oxidation, discoloration, or surface corrosion of exposed metal contacts from environmental exposure;
● Expected performance loss or capacity reduction of components with inherent finite operational lifespans.
6.1.6 Cosmetic Damage
● Scratches, abrasions, scuffs, dents, or impact marks that do not materially affect the functionality or safety of the Product;
● Discoloration, fading, or cosmetic surface degradation;
● Wear or fading of printed markings, labels, or silk-screen designations;
● Damage limited to the physical appearance that does not impair operational capability.
6.1.7 Consumable and Wear-Out Components
● Batteries, accumulators, capacitors, or other energy storage devices designed for finite operational life or cyclic degradation;
● Consumable materials or components specified in the documentation as requiring periodic replacement or maintenance;
● Thermal management materials, thermal interface materials, thermal paste, or similar consumables;
● Mechanical components subject to normal wear, such as switches, potentiometers, or relays with finite contact life.
6.1.8 Shipping and Transit Damage
● Damage incurred during transit or shipment of the Product to the Company or service center, except where:
(a) The damage resulted directly from improper packing, insufficient protective measures, or inadequate packaging undertaken by the Company; or
(b) The Company was directly responsible for arranging and paying for the transportation.
● Damage occurred during carrier mishandling where the Purchaser selected and engaged the carrier and bore responsibility for packaging and protection.
6.1.9 Unauthorized Opening, Inspection, or Serial Number Alteration
● Products on which identifying labels, manufacturing serial numbers, batch codes, date codes, or quality assurance markings have been removed, altered, defaced, or rendered illegible.
● Evidence that the Product has been opened, disassembled, or accessed in a manner unauthorized by the Company.
● Presence of non-factory seals broken or security measures circumvented.
6.1.10 Consequential and Indirect Damages
This Warranty does not cover, and the Company expressly disclaims responsibility for, any consequential, indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages or losses, including but not limited to:
● Loss or destruction of the drone platform, airframe, propulsion system, or any associated equipment;
● Loss of attached cameras, gimbals, sensors, payloads, or other drone-mounted equipment;
● Loss of flight data, sensor data, logs, or other information;
● Loss of revenue, profit, business opportunity, or business interruption;
● Loss of use, downtime, or operational disruption;
● Personal injury, property damage, or third-party claims;
● Environmental damage or regulatory fines;
● to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law
7. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS
7.1 Exclusive Warranty
Except for the express limited Warranty set forth herein, the Product is sold and supplied on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Company makes no other warranty, representation, or guarantee, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including:
● Any implied warranty of merchantability (fitness for sale);
● Any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose;
● Any warranty of quality, durability, or performance;
● Any warranty of non-infringement of intellectual property rights;
● Any warranty that the Product shall meet the Purchaser's requirements or expectations;
● Any warranty that the Product shall be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all such warranties are hereby disclaimed.
7.2 Statutory Rights
Some jurisdictions provide statutory consumer protections or implied warranties that cannot be fully excluded or limited by private agreement. To the extent applicable law prevents the complete exclusion of such warranties, the exclusions and limitations in this Warranty shall apply only to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law. Nothing herein shall affect the Purchaser's statutory rights as a consumer.
7.3 Non-Transferability
This Warranty is personal to the original Purchaser and is non-transferable and non-assignable Except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Upon any sale, gift, transfer, or assignment of the Product to any subsequent owner or user, this Warranty shall terminate immediately, and the subsequent owner shall have no claim under this Warranty. The Company shall not recognize warranty claims from any party other than the original Purchaser without express written authorization.
7.4 No Period Extension
No repair, replacement, or other service rendered under this Warranty shall operate to extend, renew, or restart the original Warranty Period. All Products repaired or replaced under warranty shall be warranted only for the unexpired portion of the original Warranty Period. Upon expiration of the original Warranty Period, no further warranty coverage shall be available unless a separate extended warranty or service agreement has been entered into in writing.
8. Conditions for Rejection of Warranty Claims
The Company may deny a warranty claim if:
● (a) The Purchaser fails to provide valid proof of purchase within the specified timeframe;
● (b) The claim is submitted after the expiration of the twelve (12) month Warranty Period;
● (c) The Product serial number or identifying marks have been removed, altered, or defaced;
● (d) Evidence indicates the Product has been opened, serviced, or repaired by any party other than the Company or an authorized service center;
● (e) The Product shows signs of tampering, unauthorized modification, or misuse;
● (f) The alleged defect falls within any of the exclusions specified in Section 6;
● (g) The Purchaser cannot provide satisfactory evidence that the Product was purchased from the Company or an authorized reseller;
● (h) The warranty has previously been transferred or assigned to a third party.
9. RIGHT TO MODIFY OR AMEND TERMS
9.1 Reservation of Right
The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, amend, supplement, or revise the terms of this Warranty at any time and without prior notice to existing Purchasers.
9.2 Prospective Application
Any modifications to this Warranty shall apply prospectively only:
● (a) Modified terms shall apply only to Products manufactured or sold after the effective date of the modification;
● (b) Products sold prior to the modification date shall continue to be governed by the Warranty terms in effect at the time of sale;
● (c) Existing warranty claims shall be processed and honored according to the terms in effect at the time the original claim was submitted, unless the modification is required by mandatory law.
10. NON-WAIVER AND SEVERABILITY
10.1 Non-Waiver
Failure by the Company at any time to exercise, assert, or enforce any right, power, or provision under this Warranty shall not constitute a waiver of such right, power, or provision, nor shall any single or partial exercise of any right preclude any further or other exercise thereof or the exercise of any other right.
Any waiver of any provision, right, or claim under this Warranty shall be valid and binding only if made expressly in writing and signed by a duly authorized representative of the Company. No course of dealing, course of performance, or trade practice shall be deemed to constitute a waiver.
10.2 Severability
If any provision, clause, or section of this Warranty is held by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable, or in violation of applicable law, such provision shall:
● (a) Be severed and deemed deleted from this Warranty;
● (b) Be reformed or amended to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, preserving the intent of the parties to the greatest extent possible; and
● (c) Not impair or invalidate the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with this warranty shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Pune, Maharashtra, India. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in the English language. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties. Subject to the foregoing, the courts at Pune shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising out of this warranty.
12. FORCE MAJEURE
12.1 Force Majeure Events
The Company shall not be liable for, and shall be relieved of any obligation or liability arising from, any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under this Warranty if and to the extent such failure or delay is caused by events or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Company, including but not limited to:
● Acts of God: Natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, cyclones, volcanic eruptions, tsunami, or other catastrophic natural events
● Warfare and Terrorism: War, invasion, hostilities, terrorist acts, sabotage, or riot
● Government Action: Government restrictions, embargoes, sanctions, lockdowns, curfews, emergency orders, or other governmental action
● Labor Disputes: Labour strikes, lockouts, work-to-rule actions, or other labour unrest
● Supply Chain Disruption: Unavailability of raw materials, components, or parts from suppliers; shipping delays; port strikes or closures
● Pandemic or Epidemic: Widespread disease outbreaks, public health emergencies, or quarantine measures mandated by public authorities
● Utility Failure: Interruption of electrical power, telecommunications, water, or other essential utilities beyond the Company's control
● Other Events: Any other event or circumstance that a court of competent jurisdiction would recognize as force majeure under applicable law
12.2 Mitigation and Resumption
● (a) Upon the occurrence of a force majeure event, the Company shall promptly notify the Purchaser and shall use commercially reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and resume performance.
● (b) This provision shall not excuse the Company from payment obligations that do not depend upon performance of services here under.
13. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES AND BEST PRACTICES
To maintain warranty validity and optimize Product performance and longevity, the Purchaser should:
● (a) Store the Product in a clean, cool, dry environment at temperatures and humidity levels within the specified range;
● (b) Protect the Product from exposure to moisture, dust, corrosive substances, and electromagnetic interference;
● (c) Handle the Product with reasonable care and avoid physical shock, impact, or rough treatment;
● (d) Use only power sources and connected components that meet or exceed the specifications in the User Manual;
● (e) Ensure adequate ventilation and cooling around the Product during operation;
● (f) Follow all installation, configuration, and operational guidelines specified in the User Manual;
● (g) Never attempt to repair, modify, or service the Product outside an authorized service center;
● (h) Maintain and retain the original proof of purchase for the duration of the Warranty Period and for any subsequent warranty claims;
● (i) Promptly report any suspected defects or malfunctions to the Company's customer service.
14. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
14.1 The Company may collect and process certain personal data of the Purchaser, including but not limited to name, contact details, address, proof of purchase, and product serial numbers, strictly for the purpose of warranty registration, claim processing, product
support, and internal record-keeping.
14.2 All personal data shall be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws in India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and any subsequent amendments.
14.3 The Company shall not share the Purchaser’s personal data with third parties except:
(a) Authorized service partners involved in warranty repair or support;
(b) Logistics partners required for shipping or return of the Product;
(c) Where disclosure is required by applicable law or a governmental authority.
14.4 By submitting a warranty claim, the Purchaser acknowledges and agrees to the collection and processing of their personal data for the limited purposes stated herein.
15. Intellectual Property Protection
All intellectual property rights in the Product, including but not limited to software, firmware, algorithms, designs, schematics, trade secrets, trademarks, technical documentation, and any related proprietary materials, shall remain the exclusive property of the Company. The Purchaser shall not, directly or indirectly, copy, reproduce, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, alter, translate, or create derivative works of any part of the Product or its software, except with the prior written consent of the Company. Any unauthorized use, tampering, or infringement shall immediately void all warranties and may result in legal action for damages and injunctive relief.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This Limited Warranty Policy applies exclusively to SKYBIT drone electronic products manufactured and sold by G- AI LABS after the date of issuance. For products covered by separate extended warranty programs, service level agreements, or manufacturer warranties from original equipment suppliers, the terms of those separate agreements shall apply concurrently or supersede this policy where expressly stated in writing. Customers are advised to retain a copy of this policy for their records and to review it carefully before submitting a warranty claim.
This document constitutes the entire agreement with respect to warranty coverage for SKYBIT products and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements, whether written or oral.
